My name is Sammy Spencer, and I am the founder of The Home Detox, a decluttering business based in the Redlands. I recently found myself in a position that is becoming all too common. Working too much, poor diet, dealing with stress and anxiety. The only relief I could find was by paring down my stuff and starting to seek a life of simplicity. I was no longer feeling contentment from buying, shopping and consuming.I found that decluttering my home and simplifying, reduced stress and left time for the more important things in life. Each object I now own serves a purpose or brings joy. Its not perfect, its a work in progress but the benefits far outweigh any negatives.

Tidying up will not only change your house, it will change your life and we have to prepare for the transformation that will take place. You are an integral part of the tidying process, so its done right the first time. We can provide a packaged quote tailored to your needs. Additional items can be discussed such as donation and removal of unwanted goods.
We do not offer cleaning services or movement of heavy furniture.
It's time to Tidy
Depending on the service provided, you may not need to be home during the process. However, if decluttering is the main goal, it is important that the client is present, as nothing can be removed without the clients approval. Once we have reviewed all of the items that you own, we can pare down, let go and begin to curate a beautiful home. This is not a cleaning service, but a master class in minimalism, simplicity and decluttering. Many organisers work by room, but we find it is far more effective to work by category. This assists with the overall organisation of the home.
Once we have finished tidying, we offer the removal of the unwanted items on your behalf.

The Follow Up
2 weeks after your initial tidy we will stop in and check progress. We can fine tune any issues, answer queries and make sure there are no relapses ensuring that you have tidied once and for all.
